Women's Bike Helmets

There is very little difference in bike helmets designed for adult men and women. However one small difference is that bike helmets designed specifically for women often sport a pony port. That's a small channel in the foam of the helmet where a woman can pull her hair through if she so chooses. Bike helmets for women often are made in a medium size and come in pastel colors or with feminine-styled graphics. Safety and protection are not diminished and these helmets are required to meet the same safety standards for use as other bike helmets.
